      Do I have to be a member of Honley Players to audition?

      No. You don’t have to be a member of Honley Players to audition, or even act. Each production needs a supporting cast of set designers and decorators, lighting, music, costume designers, hair and make-up artists. If you’re interested in treading the boards or helping out backstage, keep an eye on the Southgate Theatre website and social media feeds for upcoming productions and audition dates. Get involved.

      Where can I buy tickets?

      Tickets are always reasonably priced and can be purchased by contacting the theatre, In person from Zebra Shop in the centre of Honley, or online at ticketsource.co.uk

      Can I hire The Southgate Theatre?

      Yes. As well as the main auditorium, there are a number of smaller rooms downstairs available for hire. Enquire here.

      Can I apply to be a part of the volunteer team?

      Yes. Get in touch if you’re interested in becoming involved in performance arts in Honley.
